The Owl, previously a nightclub, is a large pub and hotel situated in the village of Hambleton. The layout is open plan and decorated quite traditionally in neutral colours but with modern touches. The furnishings and lamps give it a cosy feel. We keep an area for adult only dining and also welcome families who can relax in another part of the restaurant. There are wine cabinets around the pub displaying the large range we have which can complement your meal. Our clientele vary from the local regulars to business people attending conferences. As we have a private function room we also welcome guests attending weddings, functions, christenings, birthdays etc but do cater for conferences also. We are ideal for dropping in and having a meal if you are visiting York or Selby Abbey to name just a couple of the places of interest nearby. If you need more information about what else is around us we have lots of brochures which are displayed and kept up to date in the pub. If you are travelling some distance maybe you would like to stay over in our en suite accommodation to fully enjoy what the area has to offer.
