James N' Wood formed about two and a half years ago with Steve James and Martin Wood. Prior to this Steve played and fronted the Steve James Country band for 19 years then played with Arizona Flame for 3 years and Smoking Guns for another 2 years.Martin came to Scotland 6 years ago from South Africa where he was a producer for 20 years and played in various bands and was a solo artist playing all genre's of music for another 15 years.Upon arrival in Glasgow Martin was introduced to Steve James by a mutual friend (Shane Du Mont) who said you guys sound great together,you should start a band.And so the duo was formed .James N' Wood also go out as a live four piece band.
